On Oct. 30, 2017, Life Care Center of Blount County in Louisville, Tennessee, hosted a fall festival.
About 75 residents and 175 community members attended the event. Children were able to trick-or-treat throughout the facility and visit with the residents. Cookies, popcorn, punch and Halloween candy were provided.
Each department decorated its area with fall décor, and attendees got to vote on which decorations were their favorite.
“I loved all of the children,” said Nelson Bowers, resident. “I love seeing them having a good time. It makes everyone happy to watch them having fun.”
“My children really enjoyed all of the decorations and trick-or-treating with the residents, and they can’t wait until next year,” said Matt Fuson, director of admissions.
